Rep. Larson commends UConn Basketball on the House floor

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) commended UConn Basketball on the House floor, after the UConn Men’s Basketball team beat Purdue to win their sixth national championship.  

After last night’s win, UConn has become the only school in the country to have both the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams win back-to-back national titles.

Larson (CT-01) joined Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut’s Congressional delegation in applauding an announcement made today by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that $5 billion from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, which was created under President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, is being awarded to the Coalition for Green Capital, a consortium of organizations from throughout the country that includes the Connecticut Green Bank.
