Larson (CT-01) joined Ranking Member Richard Neal (MA-01) in introducing the Improving Access to Good Jobs for Parents Act in the Ways and Means Committee as an amendment to the JOBS for Success Act (H.R. 5861) reauthorizing the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. The amendment is aimed at ensuring that parents who receive TANF gain the skills and training that will allow them to gain long-term economic security.
