Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after the Supreme Court released its ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overturning Roe v. Wade and ending the constitutionally protected right to abortion: 

“The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn almost 50 years of precedent and subjugate women’s rights to their own bodies is shameful,” said Larson. “Abortion is now completely outlawed in 13 states with more expected to follow.

Larson (CT-01) and Joaquin Castro (TX-20) lead a letterof 149 of their colleagues to the Biden Administration urging continued action to address the infant and specialty formula shortage. The White House has announced they are working with key formula manufacturers to increase production, cut red tape to speed imports, and quickly get these products back on the shelves.
