Today, Representatives John Larson (CT-01) and Joe Courtney (CT-02) , and Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Chris Murphy (D-CT), released a letter they received from the IRS confirming that the Connecticut Foundation Solutions Indemnity Company, Inc. (CFSIC) is not required to issue federal tax form 1099s to homeowners who have received assistance from CFSIC to repair their crumbling foundations.

Today, Congressman John Larson (CT-01), Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03), Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT), Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-02), Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04), and Congresswoman Jahana Hayes (CT-05) sent a letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) urging them to rescind a $450,000 “non-reporting” penalty imposed on Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. Gaylord Hospital has provided patients throughout the state of Connecticut with high-quality care for more than one hundred years.
