Hartford, CT – Today, House Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee Chairman John B. Larson (CT-01) introduced the Save our Social Security Now Act with Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal and 19 colleagues to overturn President Trump's executive action to defer payroll contributions. They also introduced a resolution of disapproval working in a parallel effort with Senators Schumer and Wyden, to initiate a Congressional Review Act resolution to expedite the vote.

Hartford, CT – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) announced that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded over $1 million in federal grants to address domestic violence and provide legal assistance to victims of abuse in Connecticut. These awards strengthen services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and provide funding for civil and criminal legal assistance programs at minimum or no cost for adult and youth victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
