Larson (CT-01) released the following statement celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act, the first national law of its kind to help workers meet the dual demands of work and family. As President of the Connecticut State Senate, Rep. Larson authored and passed the first Family and Medical Leave Act in the country, which served as the model for the national law. 

New Haven, CT - Today, Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Congressional Delegation announce that the State of Connecticut is receiving an $18 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to address homelessness among people in unsheltered settings and in rural communities.
