Community health centers across Connecticut are experiencing disruptions in payment and communications as a result of President Donald Trump’s executive orders that froze federal funds, in addition to guidance from his administration, according a letter from the state's congressional delegation that was delivered to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressional Fire Services Caucus Co-Chairs Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) joined Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) to reintroduce the High-Rise Fire Sprinkler Incentive Act. This bill will keep residents safe and improve firefighters’ ability to respond to building fires by supporting the installation of modern sprinkler systems in older high-rises where fires are especially dangerous.
