Larson (CT-01) announced that the United Technologies Company (UTC) of East Hartford has been awarded a $4.4 million federal grant for natural gas technology research. UTC is one of only 13 recipients of the highly competitive grant from the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) MOVE program, or Methane Opportunities for Vehicular Energy.
