Washington - Thursday, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) joined Rep. Mac Thornberry(R-TX) in introducing the "LNG Excise Tax Equalization Act of 2013", a bill which would make the excise tax on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and diesel comparable on an energy-equivalent basis.

Larson (CT-01) announced he will reintroduce legislation in the 113th Congress to allow the U.S. flag to be flown at half-staff following the death of a first responder in the line of duty. Current law allows for the flag to be flown at half-staff for any member of the Armed Forces and present or former government officials.
