Washington – Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) condemned House Republicans today for choosing to use the very limited time left this Congress to pursue a cheap, partisan, political attack instead of getting to work addressing the long list of important business facing the nation.
Washington – Yesterday, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) introduced 'The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Infrastructure for America Act of 2012'. The legislation aims to improve fuel cell and hydrogen energy infrastructure and increase federal incentives for the use of fuel cell technology. Senator Richard Blumenthal also introduced an identical bill in the United States Senate. The bills will help reduce the nation's dependence on foreign oil while supporting the growing fuel cell and hydrogen energy industry.
Hartford – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) and Senators Joseph I. Lieberman and Richard Blumenthal announced $936,496 in federal funding for the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF). The funding will be used to reduce child abuse and neglect, help families find stable housing, and help parents of children with high service needs find employment through the DCF Intensive Supportive Housing for Families Program (ISHF).
