Washington, D.C. - Last night, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) congratulated the East Hartford High School girls basketball team on the House floor for winning their first state championship. The East Hartford Hornets defeated Wilton, with a final score of 54-33, in the Class LL State Finals at Mohegan Sun on March 20th. 

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3.7 million grant to Community Solutions International, Inc., New York, New York, for renovation of its Swift Factory business incubator in Hartford, Connecticut. This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan.

Washington, D.C. – Connecticut leaders on Wednesday announced that the state will receive $50 million for Fiscal Year 2022 to help lower-income families lower their utility bills with energy efficient upgrades.
