East Hartford, CT – Today, House Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee Ranking Member John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after Donald Trump called for ‘changes’ to Social Security in a Fox News interview. 

Washington, D.C. - Today, Reps. John B. Larson (CT-01) and Mike Carey (OH-15) announced the introduction of their Promoting Community-Based Prevention Services Act to increase federal funding available to Family Resource Centers (FRCs).

Washington, D.C. - Today, during a hearing on the solvency of Social Security, Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee Ranking Member John B. Larson (CT-01) highlighted the urgent need for Congress to extend the solvency of Social Security and enhance benefits by making the wealthy pay their fair share.
