Larson (CT-01) demanded answers from Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano about the ‘DOGE’ scheme to use data from the Social Security Administration to try and overturn election results with an outside election interference group, something the Trump Department of Justice admitted in a recent court filing.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford is one step closer to getting a new federal courthouse.

The new building will hold many more courtrooms than currently can fit in the existing Abe Ribicoff Federal Building.

Top lawmakers met with union leaders Monday morning to announce a project labor agreement.

The federal government is looking to park a new, almost $400 million federal courthouse, which is now a surface lot between People’s Bank Arena and Union Station. The current federal courthouse is just too small.

Larson (CT-01) and Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy announced a new federal determination they negotiated with the General Services Administration (GSA) to require a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) for the upcoming $345 million courthouse construction project in Hartford.

Hartford, CT – Today, the Connecticut Congressional delegation sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Education, demanding a reversal of the Trump Administration’s proposed student loan cuts which would exclude nursing from “professional” graduate-level degrees, cutting the available federal student loans to nursing students in half compared to “professional” degrees.
