Paul Ianni and Robert Venti, both decorated Vietnam Veterans and East Hartford residents who passed away this year. Rep. Larson entered submissions into the Congressional Record in memory of both Sgt. Ianni and Mr. Venti.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) voted for H.R. 7688, The Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act. This bill would allow the president to issue an Energy Emergency Proclamation, making it unlawful to increase gas and home energy prices in an exploitative way and give the Federal Trade Commission the power to issue penalties for price gouging.
