South Windsor, CT – Yesterday, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) honored twenty-six Korean War veterans with the Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal. The Republic of Korea offers this medal to Korean War veterans in gratitude for their service and assistance in preserving Korea’s freedom.

Larson (CT-01) along with Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin announced the City of Hartford will receive approximately $800,000 to help young adults in North Hartford’s Promise Zone who are exiting the correctional system find employment, reunite with their families, and reintegrate back into the community.
