Members of the Connecticut Congressional Delegation, in a letter led by U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), today urged the Trump administration to withdraw its threat to withhold magnet school funding from those districts that follow Connecticut State Law allowing transgender athletes to participate in athletic events in the gender they identify with.

Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) announced today that the University of Hartford Magnet School in West Hartford, CT has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2018 by the U.S. Department of Education. Each school will receive a National Blue Ribbon plaque and a flag in honor of its status.
