Public Forum and Protecting and Enhancing Social Security
Dear friends,
On Friday, April 5th, I will be hosting a discussion on the future of Social Security. Social Security isn't an entitlement, it's the insurance you've paid for. It is the working American's retirement guarantee, providing economic security for millions of Americans including seniors, people with disabilities, and children and spouses who have lost a provider. We need to enhance the program's benefits so that no one who has worked their whole life retires into poverty.
Please join us at the Elmwood Community center in West Hartford to discuss the importance of protecting Social Security and how the Social Security 2100 Act will enhance benefits for current retirees and future generations.
