Panel Discussion on impacts of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and Connecticut
Puerto Rico is still recovering from the devastation left by Hurricane Maria as a new hurricane season is underway. The Administration's response to this disaster and ongoing crisis has been abysmal. The individuals and families that are recovering still need our help. That is why I have called on FEMA and HUD to work together to find solutions for the citizens who lost their homes as a result of this storm.
I am also holding a public forum this Monday to discuss the impact of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and on the displaced families here in Connecticut. At this forum we will hear directly from those impacted by the hurricane and the local stakeholders and community leaders who have been assisting them, so that we are better prepared in the future.
I hope you will be able to join in Monday night's discussion. Please call my office at 860-278-8888 with any questions.

Queridos amigos -
