Larson Supports Hartford Region's Proposal for Amazon

Hartford, CT - Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement in support of Connecticut's proposal for Amazon's search for a second headquarters location. Gov. Dannel Malloy will be releasing a proposal later today for the Hartford/East Hartford region.

"Connecticut's bid for Amazon's second headquarters location is one of the state's highest priorities. Since the time of Samuel Colt, Hartford has been a hub of innovation. This opportunity could help lead Hartford into its next renaissance. We have a strong talent base in the Hartford region, and Amazon would be able to use this resource to expand and grow. I am committed to doing whatever I can to help Connecticut secure Amazon's second headquarters location. I have been in touch with key people at Amazon, and I am a part of a letter from the Connecticut delegation to Amazon. We're a small state, but we have big potential."
