Larson Statement on the Passing of Denise D’Ascenzo

Hartford, CT - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on the passing of longtime Channel 3 anchor Denise D'Ascenzo:

"I am heartbroken to learn of Denise D'Ascenzo's passing. For over 30 years she was a pillar of Connecticut news. Not only was she talented and a great journalist, but she was also incredibly friendly and kind. My sympathies go out to her family, friends and her Channel 3 colleagues. She will be missed."
