Larson Statement on the Passing of Austin J. McGuigan

Hartford, CT – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on the passing of Austin J. McGuigan. McGuigan is the former Chief State's Attorney for the State of Connecticut and the former Chief Prosecutor, Statewide Organized Crime Task Force.

"I'm incredibly saddened to hear of Austin J. McGuigan's passing. McGuigan was a giant who fought corruption and pushed for what was right. The state of Connecticut is a better place because of him. I was honored to have worked and served with him," said Larson.
