Larson Commends Bronin and Federal Agencies for Forming Partnership to Combat Gun Violence

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01), released the following statement on the announcement of a new city, state and federal partnership to combat gun violence:

"I am grateful to Mayor Luke Bronin, the Hartford Police Department, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration and other local agencies for the formation of the Focused Violence Reduction team," said Larson. "Gun violence has plagued our capital city, and any efforts to combat it are welcomed with open arms. Thank you to everyone involved."

The Focused Violence Reduction Team was announced today as way to enhance the local law enforcement's efforts to combat gun violence.
