Larson Applauds $2 Million Awarded to Community Health Center, Inc. for Telehealth

Hartford, CT – Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) applauded the announcement that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) $2 million to support telehealth services by increasing access and improving quality.
"Community Health Center (CHC) works every day with some of our community's most vulnerable to get them the care they need, and I'm glad CHC is receiving this award," said Larson. "They have been providing telehealth throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and this funding will allow them to expand their focus on behavioral health and meet those who need it right where they are."
This money builds on over $7.3 billion in American Rescue Plan funding, which passed with Rep. Larson's vote, for community health centers all over the country to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19.
