LARSON APPALLED BY ACTS OF HATE IN WEST HARTFORD

HARTFORD, CT- U.S. Congressman John B. Larson (CT-01) today released the following statement with regards to the vandalization of the Holocaust memorial outside Chabad House on Albany Avenue in West Hartford:

?I join the many others in deploring this terrible situation. This scene of hatred does not reflect the values of the West Hartford community and I hope that those who are responsible are found quickly and brought to justice. I have long been a proponent of legislation that addresses hate crimes and will continue to fight in the U.S. Congress for comprehensive penalties to reinforce my position that these crimes must not be allowed to go unpunished.

?Chabad stands for wisdom, comprehension, and knowledge, three things we need as we deal with the aftermath of this hate crime.?
