Gun Violence Prevention
Washington – In the wake of Sen. Chris Murphy’s historic filibuster last week, the Senate failed to pass commonsense amendments authored by Sens. Murphy and Feinstein aimed at preventing gun violence. Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement:
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Connecticut Congressional Delegation and gun violence prevention leaders joined with Team 26 today to call for action to prevent gun violence in the United States.
Washington – “The most patriotic thing we can do is vote. With respect to universal background checks on gun purchases, the U.S. House of Representatives has failed to fulfill its constitutional obligation and vote—even in the aftermath of Sandy Hook and countless other tragedies,” said Rep.
