Dear Friends,

With graduation season coming upon us, another class of graduates will be faced with the burden of excessive student debt as they embark on their careers. Student debt is hindering a generation's ability to buy a home, pursue a career path, or start a family. That's why I introduced ACTION for National Service, a bill that offers tuition aid to those who serve their country through a national service program like AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA or SeniorCorps.

I am holding a public forum to discuss, student loans, national service, and more on Tuesday, May 1st at the University of Saint Joseph. I hope to see you there!
