One of the most important responsibilities Rep. Larson has as a U.S. Congressman is assisting his constituents. Rep. Larson’s office can communicate with and request information from federal agencies and help you navigate government bureaucracy. If you need help with a federal agency, please contact his District Office in East Hartford, CT at 860-278-8888 or complete the Information Release form below to open a case. For matters concerning  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services or the United States Department of State, please contact the District Office at 860-278-8888 prior to completing a form to speak with an aide.

Understanding the limits of a Congressional office 

What Rep. Larson’s office can do: 

  • Help you communicate with federal agencies (Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, etc.) 

  • Request information or a status report on your case 

  • Submit an inquiry with a federal agency on your behalf 

What Rep. Larson’s office cannot do: 

  • Overturn or expedite a decision beyond regular agency processing times  

  • Exert influence or pressure of any kind 

  • Interfere in private affairs, legal matters or cases before a court of law
