Larson Votes to Raise Federal Minimum Wage

July 18, 2019

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) voted for the Raise the Wage Act, which would raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025 through a gradual phase-in. Larson is an original cosponsor of the legislation.

"Everybody deserves to be paid a living wage for their work. I was proud to vote for this vital legislation today. Connecticut has already been a leader on this front. The Governor signed a $15 minimum wage into law earlier this year, and now it's time for the rest of the country to follow suit," said Larson.
