Larson Statement on the Passing of Representative Alcee Hastings

Hartford, CT – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on the passing of Rep. Alcee Hastings (FL-20).

"Alcee Hastings was a great legislator and representative for the people of Florida's 20^th District. He was a well-rounded, well-versed, and wonderful man. This is a tremendous loss for the state of Florida and the United States Congress. Alcee always had great pearls of wisdom and commonsense to share. He was great Member to work with and he will be missed dearly. My sympathies go out to his wife Patricia and children."
