Larson Statement on the One-Year Anniversary of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

East Hartford, CT – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on the one-year anniversary of Russia’s unjust war on Ukraine: 

“One year into Putin’s cruel invasion, we stand today, tomorrow, and always with the people of Ukraine and their fight for freedom,” said Larson. “The world has watched and joined together in support as Ukraine has fought valiantly for their country. I am proud to have worked with my colleagues on the Ways and Means Committee and use the tools we have to inflict economic consequences on Russia and provide Ukraine with resources to defend themselves. We will continue to stand with the people of Ukraine!”
