Larson Statement on Attack at the Capitol

Hartford, CT – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after a Capitol Police Officer was killed and another one injured at the Capitol:

"I am heartbroken that our nation's Capitol is once again the target of violence and am horrified that a Capitol Police Office has been killed and another one injured. My prayers are with the family of the fallen officer, the injured officer, and the entire Capitol Police force. I would like to thank all of the officers on duty and National Guard who acted quickly in response to this attack."
