Larson: Our Support for Ukraine is Greater than Trump's Allegiance to Putin
Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) joined his Congressional Ukraine Caucus colleagues to reaffirm the United States Congress’ support for the Ukrainian people on the three-year anniversary of the unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“In this day and age and given the embarrassing vote at the United Nations that took place: where does America stand?” said Larson. “We stand with the Ukrainian people. We stand with them because we know their cause is right and just. We have to further demonstrate to the world that there is a coequal branch of government with a voice that will supersede that of the current occupant of the office of President of the United States. We stand with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.”
Last week, Rep. Larson condemned President Donald Trump’s comments falsely blaming Ukraine for their own invasion and attacking President Zelenskyy for his leadership. Today, at the direction of the Trump Administration, the United States joined Russia to oppose a resolution condemning the invasion at the United Nations.
