“Ambassador Tai has done a phenomenal jobin her first year as United States Trade Representative. I was proud to work with her on the USMCA Task Force and am thrilled to continue working with her in role as the U.S. Trade Representative.Ambassador Tai emphasized the provisions we fought for in the USMCA have led to ambitious improvements for workers in Mexico, and in doing so levels the playing field for workers in America. She also reported that the environmental provisions are working. The Ways and Means Committee has taken substantial steps to use trade to punish Putin for his invasion of Ukraine and I urge the Administration to continue to work with us and double down on these efforts,” said Larson.
