Larson Commends UPS, Teamsters for Coming to Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released this statement following the UPS and the Teamsters union, who represent over 340,000 workers nationwide, coming to a tentative agreement to increase pay and improve working conditions: 

“Congratulations to both UPS and the Teamsters for their tireless work at the negotiating table that has made this agreement possible,” said Larson. “Though it must still be ratified, this agreement is an example of how unions and management can work together. Today is a victory for working-class Americans who make our nation’s businesses successful as we fight to ensure all workers have fair wages and safe working conditions.”
