Larson Calls for a Long-Term Transportation Bill

Washington – “The nation’s crumbling roads, bridges, and transit systems are in dire need of repair, and we cannot make these critical investments without the certainty of long-term infrastructure bill. It’s time for Congress to do its job and make the hard decisions.

“There is no reason Congress should continue to kick the can on infrastructure. Sensible, long-term funding will help keep our roads and bridges safe while putting Americans back to work. We have now gone six years without a long-term transportation bill. It’s time to stop holding infrastructure hostage and bring a long-term, fully funded bill to the floor. It will pass.”
