Larson Calls for Congressional Action to Support Israel and Ukraine

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement calling on Congress to act swiftly to support Israel and Ukraine. 

“There is a global crisis- a terrorist assault on Israel and a continued assault on Ukraine by Russia. The United States Congress needs to be in Washington, D.C., taking action to vote, keep the American people informed, and act in the best interest of our allies Israel and Ukraine,” said Larson. “The House needs to elect a Speaker and work to address their needs. The Senate not only needs to support our valued allies; it needs to listen to Connecticut’s Senators and confirm Jack Lew as Ambassador to Israel, as well as the more than 301 military officials who have not received their promotions! The bottom line is this: Congress needs to be here in Washington voting to support the security needs of Israel and Ukraine.”
