Larson Applauds Passage of Bipartisan Resolution Standing with Israel, Calls for Congressional Action on President Biden’s Request for Aid

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) voted for a bipartisan resolution standing with Israel and called on the House to take swift action to pass President Biden’s request for additional aid. 

“I cosponsored and voted for today’s resolution to reaffirm our commitment to the people of Israel and their right to self-defense and call on Hamas to cease their violent attacks and safely release all hostages, including American citizens,” said Larson. “Now that the House is back in order, Congress needs to swiftly approve the President’s request for resources to support Israel and Ukraine, provide humanitarian aid to innocent Israeli and Palestinian civilians, and address our nation’s border security. President Biden has shown the right temperament and strategy as we face global crises; it is now up to Congress to ensure those efforts are supported.”
